The First Pres Young Adults are a group of college/graduate students and young professionals in our twenties and thirties who like to get together for study, discussion, service, and fun! We are an open group and love to welcome new members!
For more information on any of our upcoming activities, to sign up to receive emails about our group activities, or if you’d just like to meet for coffee and chat, contact Pastoral Intern Sarah Chivington-Buck (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Young Adult Bible Study: Over the past couple years we’ve met regularly for a wide variety of study topics, from studying the super short books of the Bible to examining the texts left out of the common lectionary. To find out what we’re studying currently, contact Sarah!
Young Adult Special Events: On a regular basis, we gather not for study, but for fun, fellowship, and service. Past service events have included painting a church in disrepair, cleaning the beach, and volunteering with the Pescadero resource center Puente de la Costa Sur. We also get together for game nights, hikes, baking parties, and terrible movie nights.
We share information about upcoming events over our Young Adults email list. If you would like to be added, or learn more about us, please contact Sarah Chivington-Buck (email@example.com).
